New Job

Micah started his first job today. He is working as a courtesy clerk at BILO behind our house. This is a nice way to say a bag clerk. I do not know what I am going to do without him around the house. We have never been a part every day. I thought I was the only one feeling a little down until Micah said, "Mom, it is going to be weird not being with you every day." I almost started crying. I told him in a few years he is really going to be on his own and now is the time to start making good choices. Also to remember everything that mom and dad have taught him. This is just the start of the empty nest. I am proud of him but also sad.

Jacob

Today Jacob turned 15. Time flies so fast. I remember when I found out I was pregnant with him. I had to go to the emergency room because I was having a panic attack. Micah was only 5 months old and already so busy. I thought Lord I cannot do this again. I also prayed he would be an easy baby. The Lord heard my prayers. Jacob was the best baby. He would just sit with his big blue eyes and look around. Jacob has always been so easy going. He evens Micah out. Jacob is my right hand. Anything I tell him to do most of the time Jacob will do without complaining. He always makes everyday things fun. Jacob is a natural leader. Most people notice Micah over Jacob because Jacob is so passive and prefers it that way. All little children love Jacob. You will usually see Jacob with a whole line of children behind him. Jacob is also a wealth of information. He loves to read. I know the Lord is going to use Jacob in a mighty way.

I've been tagged

I don't really know seven weird things about me. I will try to think of some.

1. I have to wear shoes at all times. I do not like feeling anything on the bottom of my feet.

2. I cannot stand for an animal to be on my bed or to sleep with me.

3. I do not like to talk very much on the phone. I nearly have a panic attack if I have to call someone new.

4. I do not like anyone upset with me. I know this is not realistic.

5. I do not like to see anything crooked. I drive my family nuts always telling them to straighten something.

6. I do not like to have my hand held or to be hugged. I feel like I am being smothered.

7. If I smell or see anything disgusting I will start heaving. I could barely change dirty diapers or wipe noses.

I am supposed to tag seven people but all I can think of is my friend Angie.
